This painting is an ode to flower-filled meadows exploding with colour. As the close-ups reveal, the brushwork is consciously suggestive rather than defined. Capturing the blur of colours that merge together when the grasses are in full bloom. The effect allows the eye to create the flowers in the foreground and the trees in the further ground, by contrast, are more clearly delineated drawing the focus.

This painting works well in any room - the smaller size means that it can own a narrower wall to itself, or share a wall with other paintings and compliment the colouration of a room - it looks great if you bring the accents of pink colour through into the room it proudly hangs in.
